Harbour-scapes

Struisbaai sunsets are always stunning; but on this particular day the golds, purples, and reds set the sky on fire. Over by the harbour, fishers disembarked and offloaded their day’s catch.  Skippers, crew, fish cleaners, buyers, community members, all seem to seamlessly occupy a role on the harbour. Boats glide slowly towards the harbour to offload the day’s catch and crew, keen tourists and families mill about enquiring about the day’s efforts, and children absorbed by the movements of the resident giant stingray feeding off fish discard.
